As a Realtor, you spend a great deal of time in your car zooming off to showings, meeting new clients, and running errands for your business. And while your car should always be clean for clients, it should also be prepared for possible emergencies. Mother Nature is unpredictable at best, so it's important to have a car survival kit that can get you through floods, blizzards, basic medical distress, and the occasional flat tire.
The following items make up the basic, day-to-day components of a car safety kit. You should have all of these items readily available in your car.
Car breakdowns can and do happen, so it's important to be prepared in case your car experiences any kind of failure. In addition to the general safety kit listed above, it's a good idea to have the following items on-hand.
If you live in an area that sees a significant amount of snow, you will want to add these pieces to your survival kit when the weather gets cold.
Storms and flash flooding can crop up with very little notice, so make sure you have these items ready for a rainy day.
Some of these items will take up extra room in the trunk of your car, or require a quick once-over of the user's manual before use, but they would make excellent additions to your car safety pack:
