6 Blog Tweaks That Will Make Your Readers Happier

September 28 2011

Consumers are visiting your website for one of four reasons:

  1. Search for homes.
  2. Find out how the market is doing.
  3. Find out what they’re home is worth.
  4. Learn about the local community.

The easier you make it to access all of this information, the better. If they can easily access one of these four, you’ve satisfied their taste for information and you’ve earned their attention.

From there, what you do to keep that attention is either going to lead to a sale or it’s not. But really, it’s all about how easy you make it for the reader to establish a connection with you after they’ve landing on your website.

Here’s a few things that I suggest…

1. Make it easy to find what I’m looking for.

If I’m looking to search for homes, it should be blatantly obvious where I should go or click to get to that home search page.
